I was born in Hollywood, California way too many years ago. It was beautiful day, I know, because I was born. Home is Southern Cal on or near the beach.

I've raised two daughters to the best of my ability equipped with the mommy instinct instilled in all, or shall I say most mothers. They, (the girls) are doing "fantabulous". They have gifted me one of my most precious gifts, my four grandbabies. Of course some are not babies anymore. They range in ages 16 to my youngest being 3 in September.

I have a passion for Family, Friends and Food and living life to the fullest. My favorite quote is "live deep and suck out all the marrow of life" by Henry David Thoreau. Actually I have a passion for too many things to list here and will attempt to share/write here on Hub Pages. This will be my first attempt at writing and eventually I hope to find my true "voice". I'm not sure what I will be writing about, safe to guess whatever stikes my fancy at the time.

I'm at a juncture in my life that demands some pretty scary, (well maybe not so scary) thrilling perhaps??, changes. Will probably share later perhaps.

Anyway, besides the sheer joy of exploring this medium, I'm motivated to earn some residual income, eventually (yes I read this on the internet, how to earn money as an affiliate, etc. etc.) So I can live happily ever after on or near the beach in Southern Cal. or somewhere where the weather is warm, perhaps Belize, Costa Rica or wherever there is a beach. Yep, you guessed it, I'm a beach bum at heart.
